Style development

Messing around with phong shaders, GI and simple form to create simplified forms. I have also produced my own array of colour swatches in Adobe Photoshop, and then exported each (48) as materials to use within the 3D scenes. 




These are my initial renders, I'm still trying to find a render light setup I am happy with to produce a series with. I have not edited these images in Photoshop, they are directly from the render viewer. I am trying to cut down on post processing now and try and get as much of the final version in the actual render, as this will be much more efficient and consistent when producing a series.

The actual burger is based off an AlmostFamous invention called the 50 Shades of Bacon, it had more than enough in it to give me the opportunity to experiment with a range of modelling and texturing processes. (Such as layering of textures within MAXON Cinema 4D as opposed to in Adobe Photoshop, which allowed me to produce fractal properties, for example multiple layers of pixel noise.)
